People say I am vain,
Too into myself and that's just insane,
Somehow I wish to disagree,
How beautiful a creature could be,
For all I am doing is admiring me,
What a beautiful face,
A heart full with pity,
The eyes of an angel,
Smooth, soft, silky hair.
Nevertheless, when they need me, I am there.
A God-given gift to the world,
"You are unique," so I've been told.
A God-given gift to the world,
"You are unique," so I've been told.
A designer's original.
A perfect pair of pants.
A marvellous shoe,
But at the end of it all, I am not you!
I cherish who I am,
Created in the image and likeness of God.
Priceless no one can afford
To purchase one like me
I don't have a price tag and I have needs.
It's not easy being what God created,
But it's a secret that I was told,
Everyone is just as special,
No matter how old.
Feel free to explore the treasures of yourself,
For the reason you were created was for something else.
Love thyself and be what you want to be,
For there is certainly no one like you
And no other like me.
