We asked our readers to share anything they have heard from their parents and elders which show just how tech-savvy they ARE NOT. Like one fella say his dad came home boasting how the company gave him a new RasBerrry phone. Another girl say her mom is always talking about Blue-teeth.

One time we (my mom and I) left the Close Caption on, on the TV and went to hang with my aunt and her son who came from away. When we came back I wanted to show the son one of my new video games. So I turned on the TV but nothing was showing. I didn't take it on at the time, but when we started to play the game no sound was playing.
So I went and told my mom. She came and went to investigate the TV.
Then we realized the parental block was on.
So we asked dad wat happened. He said how he tried to turn off the Close Caption. But he went and block all the channels on the TV and take off all the sound!
All because he wanted to see the Speed Station without Close Caption... talk bout Techno-Tard

My father  was saying you must defog the computer to fix a virtual memory error - the correct thing is defragment (defrag) -  and the thing is that cannot fix a virtual memory error. ha ha. yuh don't know but yuh have chats is the greatest.

My mom for nothing could shortened her words when she's sending text messages ... so I’m always getting some really long messages from her. My dad up to this day doesn't know how to send an e-mail or a text on his phone ... he's just not into the modern-day technology.

My mum is so special she has a cell phone but can only answer and make calls. She can't even enter a number in her phone book. I told her she should just take the cordless and carry it around. Then she was brazen enough a few weeks ago to be looking in the papers at a Blackberry and she even considered buying one when I (being much more technologically advanced) had to stay with my 1600

Well the greatest was last term when we had parents meeting, the principal spoke about children addicted to and spending too much time on FACEBOOK. Now not too long after one of my classmates' father came up to us saying so allyuh on this FACEBOX too so we were there trying to figure out what he talking bout then his daughter had to let us no that it was actually facebook.
