The deadline for submission of registration forms for this year's Secondary Schools' Short Film Festival has been extended to June 4.

Ten schools will be given the opportunity to receive training in film and video production techniques. From this field of ten the top three will be selected and awarded.

Forms must be submitted with a one-page outline of the idea for the script that will be used for the development of the 10-minute short film.

The outline must include the film title, scenes, locations, list of characters and the story.

Qualifying schools will be contacted and the participating students and their supervisory teacher from the group will be invited to attend a training workshop.

All short films will be judged by a panel of industry professionals in early in September.
