As far as movies go, there are only two types of awards; the fake ones and the real ones, or to be more specific, the MTV Movie Awards and the Academy Awards. And, on March 7, 2010, the 82 Annual Oscars showed yet again why they're the real awards ceremony with a stunning and beautiful show with its fair balance of both the well-deserved and the delightfully surprising.

Well folks, the 82 Academy Awards are upon us, and after sitting through the good, the bad and the definitely ugly of the big screen in 2009, it's time to decide which movie was the best of them all. Although the winner's envelopes will not be opened until March 7 I'm pretty sure my predictions are accurate.

For the past two months a slew of fetes have entertained crowds of revelers as this country prepares for Carnival celebrations next week. In the crowds at several of these fetes teenagers are partying just as hard as the adults. Some with permission from their parents and others without.

The 'based on a true story' tear-jerker is sometimes difficult. It needs to have the right combination of a heartwarming story, loveable characters and a cast that can pull those characters off properly.
